This high-tech podium blends exquisite form with demanding function, and is as much a sculpture as it is a machine.  A combination of precision cherry woodwork and precisely machined metalwork, the podium easily reaches virtually any desired height or position in the studio by means of a single switch controlling its quiet hydraulic system.  Behind the sleek wraparound dashboard, the presenter is in a fully functional workspace that includes a built-in flat screen monitor, fully dimmable lighting controls, a microphone and various switches that permit on-air communications with the studio control room.  A clever retractable “landing gear” mechanism allows the podium to be moved rapidly and safely before, during, and after productions.
