Stage set for CNN’s American Morning Show

This street-level TV studio was visible on three sides from a busy sidewalk in Manhattan.  Meticulous quality levels were mandatory not only because of its high visibility, but also due to the use of the new high-definition cameras.  Additional challenges were added by the need to be able to move two walls weighing 1,200 pounds quietly and smoothly during performances around a 72 foot long curved track, as well as the requirement for the anchor desk to be positioned on a rotating stage.
